Dominion Marine appoints 3 new members of staff
Dominion Marine are pleased to announce the appointment of 3 new members of staff to the Group.
Following the restructure of the Group and the launch of new operations in Malta, the new additions to the team arrive after a busy 2017 which saw a sharp increase in new business activity.
New team members: (left to right) Paul Fleming, Jonathan Reilly and Tim Cox have recently joined the Dominion Group.
Paul Fleming joined the Dominion Marine team as Crew Services Manager. Paul has worked within the maritime industry for 13 years, spending the last 11 years in a senior role with BP Shipping where he built up a wealth of experience managing projects and overseeing all areas of crew management operations including crew planning, logistics, payroll and system reviews. With the introduction of a new crew service for Dominion Crew Solutions clients in 2018, Paul’s arrival is very timely and he has already hit the ground running.
Tim Cox joined the Dominion Marine team as Head of Client Accounting. Tim has a background in offshore banking and also spent considerable time working in the oil & gas industry for a large multi-national shipping business in Texas, USA. Tim returned to the Isle of Man in 2009 where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a local accountancy firm before moving into the superyacht management sector.
Jonathan Reilly joined the Dominion Marine team as Marine Administrator & Legal Co-ordinator. Jonathan graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Law (LLB) before moving to the University of Southampton to complete a Masters in Maritime Law (LLM).
Prior to moving to the Isle of Man, Jonathan worked in commercial shipping as a Port Agent at the Port of Bristol. His background in commercial shipping provides him with an abundance of transferable skills that he is already putting to good use whilst working for Dominion.
Simon Roberts, Director & Head of Group Yachting Services, welcomed the new additions to the team and made the following comments:
I am delighted to welcome Paul, Tim and Jonathan to the Dominion Marine team. Following our Group restructure last year, our new operations in Malta and our strategic plan going forward it was important to identify and recruit the right calibre of personnel that fit with our future plans. Whilst we already have a very loyal and experienced team of superyacht administration specialists, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years, all 3 new members of staff have a very credible background and solid understanding of the maritime industry as a whole which in turn allows us to provide our clients with that additional hands-on expertise which is crucial in today’s marketplace.
